NEWS ROUNDUP

DEVELOPMENT: Trinitas Ventures launches Indiana BTR project. Trinitas Ventures has unveiled Avanza at Hyde Park, its first BTR neighborhood and the debut project from its newly formed BTR and multifamily division. Located in Noblesville, Indiana, the 237-unit community of duplexes and townhomes will break ground in November 2025, with the first residents expected by spring 2027 and full delivery in fall 2027. CEO Loren King said, “Avanza is a place to thrive…every detail is intentional and rooted in Noblesville’s character.” Executive VP Eric Wojak noted the project aligns with Trinitas’ strategy of entering growth markets with demand for flexible, community-oriented housing.

DEVELOPMENT: HMF Americana enters Charlotte market. HMF Americana has announced its entry into the Charlotte market with a BTR and multifamily hybrid project in Stallings. “This is not your typical rental community,” said Tim Crawford, founder of HMF Americana. “Charlotte is an ideal launch point as it combines the energy of a thriving metro with the comfort of close-knit suburban communities.” Frank Warren, HMF’s Southeast regional director, emphasized partnerships with landowners and local governments as part of their approach.

DEVELOPMENT: NexMetro opens third Austin-area BTR. NexMetro Communities has officially opened Avilla Rio Oaks, a 260-home BTR neighborhood in Liberty Hill, Texas, marking its third luxury leased home community in the Austin region in the past six months. Jason Flory, regional managing director for NexMetro’s Austin Division, cited strong job and population growth, housing affordability challenges, and shifting renter attitudes as key demand drivers.

PEOPLE MOVES: Trilogy Investments appoints new SVP of Asset Management. Trilogy Investment has appointed Chris Poston as Senior Vice President of Asset Management. “Chris brings a rare combination of operational expertise and institutional perspective that will help position Trilogy for continued growth,” said Jason Joseph, CEO and Managing Partner at Trilogy.
