FINANCING: NASB provides $28.5 million loan for Kansas BTR. NASB has closed $28.5 million in construction financing for the first phase of Prairie Wolf Villas, a 160-unit BTR being developed by Crain Company. NASB’s Tom DeGregorio and Crain’s Graham Crain worked closely to arrange the financing.

DEVELOPMENT: Bridge Tower starts 100-home BTR in Texas. Bridge Tower has started construction on Teasley Crossing, a 100-home BTR community in Denton, Texas, with first occupancies expected as early as September. Jackson Su, managing partner at Bridge Tower, said the development is aimed at meeting demand in southern Denton and Corinth, areas he said have been relatively underserved compared with central and northern Denton.

DEVELOPMENT: Wan Bridge launches rental home community. Wan Bridge has officially launched Frontera Shores, a new BTR community in Lewisville, Texas, with pre-leasing now underway. Kelli Cone, senior vice president of business development and property operations, said Frontera Shores reflects the company’s commitment to bringing high-quality homes and a hassle-free lifestyle to one of the fastest-growing cities in the region.

INVESTMENT: Red Cedar secures $75 million investment from L.M. Sandler & Sons. Red Cedar Construction Services has received a $75 million strategic investment from L.M. Sandler & Sons to expand its BTR and multifamily platform across the U.S. Steven Sandler said Red Cedar stood out for its disciplined execution and focus on institutional rental housing, while Jon Grabowski, CEO of Red Cedar, said the partnership will help the company serve capital providers and developers through a vertically integrated model that combines acquisition support, horizontal development, plan design, and vertical construction.
