DEVELOPMENT: Buckingham JV breaks ground on 120-unit BTR community. Buckingham and Onyx+East have officially broken ground on Mural Lewis Center, a 120-unit BTR community in Lewis Center within Orange Township. This development is the latest addition to Buckingham’s Mural Collection and follows the success of Mural Brownsburg, the joint venture’s first BTR project in suburban Indianapolis. Mural Lewis Center will offer two- to four-bedroom homes ranging from 902 to 2,685 square feet. Each home will feature an attached two-car garage and private outdoor space, with all home and yard maintenance included for residents.

DEVELOPMENT: Center Park Group delivers 30 units. Center Park Group has successfully completed Brisbane, a 30-home BTR community on James Island, delivering all residences to American Homes 4 Rent in under a year. Vertical construction began in April 2024, and the final home closed in January 2025. Brisbane marks the fifth collaboration between Center Park Group and AMH in the Charleston area.

DEVELOPMENT: Ellavoz completes site work for BTR project in Florida. Ellavoz Impact Capital has completed site work for Cedar Creek Estates, a BTR community in Jacksonville, Florida. Vertical construction is set to begin in April, with the $14 million project aiming to deliver 45 high-quality homes on nine acres within an Opportunity Zone. Designed to address Jacksonville’s growing demand for affordable housing, Cedar Creek Estates will offer homes ranging from 1,200 to 1,650 square feet, catering to diverse family and individual needs. “Our Ellavoz team and impact investors are extremely proud to be part of Jacksonville’s redevelopment,” said Robert Hutchins, Founder and CEO of Ellavoz Impact Capital.

DEVELOPMENT: Watermark Companies accepting applications for Texas community. Watermark Companies has officially opened leasing for Canvas at Midlothian, a BTR community set to welcome its first residents in April 2025. Located in Midlothian, Texas, this development offers 201 single-family homes and townhomes. Managed by Willow Bridge Property Company, Canvas at Midlothian offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes featuring attached two-car garages, smart home technology, stainless steel appliances, and private outdoor spaces. "As build-to-rent communities continue to grow in popularity, we're excited to bring Canvas at Midlothian to this vibrant area," said Catlin Clarke, Marketing and Communications Manager at Watermark Companies.”
