DEVELOPMENT: Mandrake stabilizes Easthaven Townhomes at Savannah Quarters in Georgia. Mandrake Capital Partners has stabilized Easthaven Townhomes at Savannah Quarters in Pooler, GA, marking the firm’s 17th stabilized deal, according to an announcement submitted to BTR List. The community offers townhomes with open-concept layouts and private outdoor spaces near Savannah. Joseph O’Connor, managing partner at Mandrake, said the milestone reflects the firm’s focus on quality housing in markets with long-term growth potential.

DEVELOPMENT: Rockefeller Group develops 213-home BTR community in Arizona. Rockefeller Group is developing Farinosa Villas, a 213-home build-to-rent community on 17.4 acres at 3737 W. Dobbins Road in Laveen, AZ. The community will offer one- to three-bedroom detached homes, duplexes, townhomes and carriage-style homes averaging 1,187 square feet. Preleasing is expected to begin before year-end, with first move-ins targeted for February 2027 and Mark-Taylor managing leasing. DEVELOPMENT: Lewis launches leasing at 208-home BTR community in California. Lewis Apartments has opened the leasing office and model homes at Independence in West Sacramento, a 208-home townhome-style rental community in West Sacramento, CA. The two- and three-bedroom homes range from 1,176 to 1,722 square feet and include private entries, outdoor space and attached one- or two-car garages. Amenities include a pool, spa, fitness center and pickleball courts. Randall Lewis of Lewis Group of Companies said the community expands the company’s rental-home offering near downtown Sacramento. The leasing launch follows the 2025 opening of Independence in Dixon.

DEVELOPMENT: JCCG schedules ribbon-cutting for 225-home BTR community in Alabama. Jim Chapman Construction Group has scheduled an October 28 ribbon-cutting for Creekside Cottages, a 225-home rental community on 39 acres in Opelika, AL. The community is leasing, with residents beginning to move in as crews complete finishing touches, according to JCCG president Chris Mancuso. The attached two- and three-bedroom cottages range from 1,000 to 1,439 square feet and include attached garages and main-level primary suites. Chapco Design-Build, a JCCG division, built the clubhouse, pool and dog park, and Capstone Communities manages the property.
