NEWS ROUNDUP

DISPOSITION: Cushman & Wakefield brokers sale of 72 units. Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the sale of Promenade Brunswick, a 72-unit BTR in Brunswick, Georgia. Cushman & Wakefield’s Taylor Bird, Laura Taylor, Nelson Abels, Parker Caldwell and Jaime Slocumb handled the transaction.

DEVELOPMENT: BBL Building Company completes 316-unit rental community. BBL Building Company has completed The Village at Golden Triangle, a 30-acre rental community in Fort Worth, Texas, with 316 living units. The homes include fenced backyards, garages, and carports, while the community center features a fitness center, pet wash, lounge area, and swimming pool.

DEVELOPMENT: BrightSky starts construction on California BTR. BrightSky Residential has begun construction on Haven, its newest purpose-built rental community in Menifee, California. The company said model homes, community amenities, and the first phase of production homes are currently under construction, with model delivery and pre-leasing expected this summer.

DEVELOPMENT: Crescent opens first BTR community in Lawrenceville. Crescent Communities has opened a 151-unit BTR community in Lawrenceville, marking the firm’s 13th multifamily investment in greater Atlanta and the first under its Harmon brand. Townhome rents start at $2,545 per month for a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath layout with 1,663 square feet, while standalone homes start at $3,025 for a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath option with 2,210 square feet.
