NEWS ROUNDUP

ACQUISITION: Wrightwell acquires 90-unit BTR. Wrightwell has acquired Brightside at Cloverleaf, a 90-unit BTR townhome community in Cartersville, Georgia. Located about three miles from downtown Cartersville, the property offers newly built townhomes with access to local schools, restaurants, retail, and everyday amenities. The deal marks Wrightwell’s seventh acquisition in the past 15 months, highlighting the continued growth of the firm’s platform and portfolio.

ACQUISITION: Edgehill closes 127-unit Charlotte BTR development. Edgehill has closed on Hillstead at Maple Pond, a 127-unit BTR townhome development in Charlotte, marking the second investment in its Hillstead BTR platform. Edgehill said Hoopaugh Grading Company will handle site development and Center Park Group will serve as the vertical builder. Construction is expected to begin this week, with first homes anticipated to deliver in the first quarter of 2027.

DEVELOPMENT: Integrity Community Builders completes 150-home community. Integrity Community Builders has completed Skymor Wesley Chapel, a 150-home rental community in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Located in a fast-growing Tampa-area suburb, the project features two- and three-bedroom townhomes with open-plan layouts, kitchen islands, and walk-in closets. The amenity center includes a swimming pool, fire pit, playground, and dog park, helping position the community as a family-friendly rental option in one of the region’s expanding suburban markets.

DEVELOPMENT: One West End reaches 94% leased within 11 months. Justin Coulter, Managing Partner at Gordon Road Capital, announced that One West End, their first Opportunity Zone BTR community in Charlotte, has reached 94% leased in just 11 months as it heads into the summer leasing season.
