NEWS ROUNDUP

DEVELOPMENT: NexMetro opens 108-home BTR in Arizona. NexMetro Communities is opening Avilla Foothills, a 108-home BTR community in Surprise, Arizona. Jared Geisler, Regional Managing Director for Phoenix and Denver at NexMetro, said the project is designed to meet growing demand for housing that offers the space and privacy of a single-family home without the responsibilities of ownership. Pre-leasing is currently underway, with the community positioned to serve families, young professionals, and retirees in the rapidly growing Northwest Phoenix metro area.

DEVELOPMENT: Zilber opens 209-unit BTR in California. Zilber Residential Group and Homes by Towne, both affiliates of Zilber, have opened Estia Roseville, a 209-unit BTR community in Roseville, California, approximately 20 miles northeast of Sacramento. The community offers one- and two-bedroom, single-story homes ranging from 709 to 1,083 square feet. Each residence includes a private entrance, walk-in closets, in-unit washer and dryer, stainless-steel appliances, and a private fenced backyard with a built-in dog door.

DEVELOPMENT: CBI Construction breaks ground on 264-unit BTR in Florida. CBI Construction has broken ground on Abrazo at Wylder, a 264-unit BTR community in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Developed by Third Lake Development, the project is scheduled for completion in 2027 and will be the first multifamily development within the Wylder master-planned community.

DEVELOPMENT: Chapco nears completion of clubhouse at Georgia BTR. Chapco Design Build announced that construction of the clubhouse at Wren’s Hollow, a BTR townhome community in Pooler, Georgia, is nearing completion. Developed by Mandrake Capital Partners, the community will feature a mix of two- to four-bedroom townhomes with modern interiors, open-concept layouts, and attached garages.
