NEWS ROUNDUP

DISPOSITION: Northmarq brokers $6.44 million sale of Nashville-area BTR. Northmarq has arranged the $6.44 million sale of Vinewood Townhomes, a 50-unit BTR community in Gallatin, Tennessee. The transaction was led by Jordan Arand and Northmarq’s Nashville Investment Sales team. The community features two- and three-bedroom townhomes with premium finishes, including attached garages and private patios.

FINANCING: Core Spaces and Harrison Street refinance Texas BTR. Core Spaces and Harrison Street Asset Management have secured a refinancing loan for Oxenfree Princeton, a 408-unit BTR community in Princeton, Texas, with GID providing the financing in a transaction arranged by Newmark. The loan refinances an $86 million construction loan issued by Western Alliance Bank in 2023 for the community, which was completed late last year. The financing was arranged by Jonathan Firestone, Blake Thompson, Clint Frease, Travis Bailey, and Josh Francis of Newmark.

DEVELOPMENT: JCCG celebrates grand opening of 201-unit community. Jim Chapman Construction Group (JCCG) has announced the grand opening of The Cottages at Capital Circle, a 206-unit BTR community in Tallahassee, Florida. Chris Mancuso, President of JCCG, said the milestone reflects the successful delivery of a community that meets growing demand for high-quality rental housing while reinforcing the firm's commitment to expanding build-to-rent communities across the Southeast.

DEVELOPMENT: Chapco Design Build completes amenity center at 193-home BTR. Chapco Design Build, a division of Jim Chapman Construction Group (JCCG), has completed the amenity package at The Cottages at Dawsonville, a 193-home BTR community in Dawsonville, Georgia. Construction on the amenities began in January 2026 and concluded in late June, delivering a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, and professional management offices. Jim Chapman, Chairman of the Board of Chapco Design Build, said the completed amenity spaces enhance the resident experience while supporting leasing performance and long-term community value.
