DEVELOPMENT: Laseter Development begins site work on 150-unit BTR. Laseter Development Group has started site work with Dogwood Site Contractors on Hanover Park, a 150-unit purpose-built BTR community in Stockbridge, Georgia. The development will include a mix of townhomes and single-family homes, along with amenities such as a clubhouse, pool, fire pit, community green and dog park. Vertical construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with three- and four-bedroom homes ranging from about 1,800 to 2,500 heated square feet and featuring two-car garages.

DEVELOPMENT: NexMetro opens 214-home BTR in Arizona. NexMetro Communities is preparing to open a new 214-home BTR community in Buckeye, Arizona, marking its 26th Avilla Homes development in the greater Phoenix market. Jared Geisler, regional managing director of development for NexMetro’s Phoenix and Denver divisions, said the project is designed to serve both existing Buckeye residents and new households seeking the lifestyle of a home without the responsibilities of ownership. He added that NexMetro’s site selection strategy focuses on markets with durable demand, supported by population growth, job creation and in-migration.

DEVELOPMENT: Mandrake Capital stabilizes Georgia community. Mandrake Capital Partners announced today that Benton Grove, a 133-unit BTR community in Pooler, Georgia, has achieved stabilization. Benton Grove offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom rental homes alongside a strong amenity package featuring a resort-style pool, pickleball court, grilling stations and bocce ball court. “Benton Grove is a great example of our ability to execute from development through stabilization,” said Joseph O’Connor, Managing Partner of Mandrake Capital Partners. “We are proud of what the team has accomplished and excited to see Benton Grove fully established within the Pooler market.”

DEVELOPMENT: E77 and CT Realty secure zoning for 207-unit BTR. E77 Development and CT Realty Trust have received zoning approval from the City of Worcester for a 207-unit BTR community that the developers describe as the first ground-up BTR project in New England. The JV plans to deliver high-end finishes and a broad amenity package, including a wellness suite, fitness facilities, resort-style pool, black car rental service, pickleball courts, children’s rooms, a playground, coworking spaces and an in-house coffee shop.
