ACQUISITION: Bridge Tower acquires 114-unit BTR in Texas. Bridge Tower has acquired a 114-unit BTR community in Katy, Texas. Completed in 2023, the property is located within the Sunterra master-planned community and includes private yards and garages for every home. Jackson Su, co-CEO of Bridge Tower, said the acquisition fits the firm’s strategy of targeting high-quality communities in strong growth markets where disciplined operations can further improve long-term performance.

DEVELOPMENT: Porter Kyle opens 100-unit BTR in Arizona. Porter Kyle has opened a 100-unit BTR townhome community in Chandler, Arizona, with residents now moving in and Mark-Taylor taking over lease-up and property management. The project was completed by Porter Kyle Builders after a 20-month construction period and was delivered on schedule and under budget. Taylor Shultz, partner at Porter Kyle, said leasing activity exceeded expectations and reflects strong demand in Chandler, where limited land availability and high barriers to new development are constraining competitive supply.

DEVELOPMENT: VennPoint opens luxury BTR community. VennPoint Real Estate has officially opened PARK5, a luxury BTR townhome community in Deerfield, Illinois. Nick Marietti, CEO of VennPoint Real Estate, said the project is designed for downsizers, young families, and other renters seeking a maintenance-free lifestyle without giving up the space and privacy of a home. Managed by RPM Living, the community offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom ranch-style and multi-level townhomes with attached garages, private entries, mudrooms, pantries, and private outdoor space. Jenny Velilla, vice president of operations at RPM Living, said strong early leasing reflects the project’s appeal across multiple renter demographics. Construction began in June 2025, with Nicholas & Associates serving as general contractor.

DEVELOPMENT: Greystar opens 184-home BTR community in Texas. Greystar has opened a 184-home BTR community in Cypress, Texas, within the Marvida master-planned community, with move-ins available immediately. Harris Green, senior director of development at Greystar, said the project is designed for renters who want the space and features of homeownership without the long-term commitment.
