NEWS ROUNDUP

DISPOSITION: Thompson Thrift sells 242-unit BTR. Thompson Thrift has sold Slate at Fishers District, a luxury BTR community comprising 242 units in Indianapolis, Indiana. The property was acquired by Bonaventure Holding. CBRE facilitated the sale of Slate at Fishers District, with a brokerage team comprising George Tikijian, Hannah Ott, Ted Abramson, Cam Benz, Claire Hassfurther, Ryan Stockamp, and Sean Pingel.

FINANCING: CoreVest provides $11.1 million credit line for 149-home portfolio. Brendan Hamilton, VP at CoreVest, announced that CoreVest has funded a 149-unit SFR portfolio across Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The funding came in the form of a $11.1 million credit line.

DEVELOPMENT: PCCP and Advenir Azora announce Georgia BTR. PCCP and Advenir Azora have announced the development of Leo at Port Wentworth, a 250-unit BTR community situated in Port Wentworth, Georgia. The community will offer a mix of Class A rental options, including one- and two-bedroom duplexes, two-bedroom cottages, and two- and three-bedroom townhomes. “PCCP is pleased to partner once again with Advenir Azora for the development of what we believe is a well-conceived, high-quality BFR community in the high-growth market of Savannah,” said Andrew Barbakoff with PCCP.

DEVELOPMENT: Verdot Capital announces 128-unit community. Verdot Capital has unveiled plans for a 128-unit BTR project in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The community will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. The company believes they will break ground on the project in the summer of 2025.
